Nak pakai tudung atau lepaskan?

Oh our sister for the sake of Allah, dont fall for the temptations of Syaitan,
The Hijab is an obligation from our Lord Al Mannaan (The Bestower),
We have indeed heard our sister, outrageous statement.
They have said displeasing words about the hijaab,
They said, "The hijab is a a form of darkness and opression in the form of clothes"
They said, "A tent has been hung over the necks",
They have called for the "liberation of young women and have written books about it"
They have drawn a path for the unlawful display of beauty and to waste the youth.
O our sister, this is the howl of the malicious wolves.
The fire is the abode of the oppressors, for them is a punishment.
Allah will uncover their oppression on the day of account.
and jannah is the abode (of the believers) and what a beautiful abode of return it is.

Kind heart

How do we know whether we have a sound and kind heart?

How do we know whether this heart that will return to Allah swt is as good as how we receive them?

Today, when I was running for a groceries, to get some fruits from a local store, upon paying, the cashier mentioned:
"Nanti akak ambil ya bekas di luar tu, percuma. Pak Mart setiap hari jumaat, kami beri dekat semua orang. Sedekah"

Then, outside of the store, reside a pao seller. A young man in his twenties. Initially I wasn't going to buy but something makes me wanted to spend. 2 cups of coconut water and 4 pao of different flavours. It totaled up to RMxx. It took sometime for him to calculate the return, and I assist. However, upon driving leaving the store, my mind suddenly hit the break. He totaled them up wrongly! I made a U turn and asked him:
"Dik, air kelapa tadi berapa RM? "
"RM2 kak"
"Awak tak kira sekali ya? Tadi akak bayar RMxx"
"Tak pe..saya sedekah"

I was dumbfounded. I was shocked and amazed. Allah swt showed me that there are a lot of people out there who have sound and kind heart. They know the power of sedekah. They understand the ability of Allah swt's blessing to those who give more, who give everything they can in their power to others. They know the reward that comes with it and the embrace it with love and showed them in form of  deeds with all their heart.

Surah al-Baqarah: 261

I don't feel that I deserve these kindness, thus, kindness receive, kindness return. The ripple effect that a small act of kindness can make this world a better place. When I came back to the car, my children were amazed at the amount of food that we receive. I told them who gave them and made doa for those who helped others and shared their rizq to us. And after I left the pao stall, 2 more customers came and buy from him. May Allah swt multiply his rizq, grant him with good health and ease all of his matters. And for those who lived in Sendayan, do come to Pak Mart @ Merchant Square.

Feeling of wanting to hear continuous typing

Regardless of the time that has passed, wanting to write and also tell others about a snippet or a small fraction of you life, sometimes feels exciting but most of the time, it feels too personal to share. However, tonight, I fell like listening to the stream of keyboard clicks.

Have you ever wonder why there are time where you feel like you wanted to do lots of good stuffs, increase your deeds and motivated to do more. A little extra of everything. Extra cleaning. Extra organizing. Extra sunnah. Extra Reading. Extra Helping. Not long after that you feel extremely exhausted, wanting to quit and just dragging your feet and head to finish a task.

Being consistent, istiqamah is never easy. It needs a consistent effort to stay consistent. But the trial from Allah swt, doesn't stop at one only. It came one after another, and on top of that, you are struggling to stay consistent. There are times where you swayed away by other interest in the less important stuff. Getting caught up into an obsessions, or new interest, that makes the consistent effort needs an extra effort.

So, how do we stay consistent? How do we maintain our istiqamah? How did Rasulullah saw stayed consistent throughout 23 years of dakwah? How do the sahabat & sahabiah stayed consistent? We are all human being after all.

Did you know that one of Sahabah's son used to remember Surah Qaff by heart because he always hear Rasulullah saw recite the surah almost every friday prayer? Why this particular surah out of all the others? And why does he choose to recite and elaborate this surah every week?

Try and read the surah, which is the 50th surah in the quran. Read through the meaning of each ayat and you will understand why Rasulullah saw choose this particular surah. The main aim is for the sahabah to be steadfast in their life. To remain consistent and to always tie their heart towards Allah swt.

So, what about us?
