It is good deed followed by another

Every time I write a new post, this thought always occurred to me: "How long has it been since the last post?". To me, every post is unique as every words written is the result from careful thinking, embraced with emotions, knowledge and experiences that I wanted to share with readers. May Allah swt always showers dear readers with His blessings in this world and hereafter insyAllah. Its interesting how time really flies without waiting for the others even for a split of a second. MasyAllah. There has been a few encounters where I wanted to share a lot, in this blog as the past few months has been such a busy months with so many events that Allah swt has drawn for me, however, thinking of the main reason why this blog was created in the first place, forbid me from exposing much of my personal life. Let it be in my personal diary instead of reciting it in the public ^^.

Thus, in this post, I would like to share a beautiful quote that I pick up from a beautiful book called: "Himpunan Ilmu dan Hikmah (Jilid 1)". This book covers a number of selected hadith in details, which include the histories behind the recitation of the hadith, what the scholars says about the hadith, the hikmah that we can pick up from the hadith etc. One of the quote that really affected me under the explanation for the 9th hadith recited:

Amazing isn't it. This word caused me to pause for a long period of time and kept me thinking. There were so many sins that we have done, plaited with good deeds (that Allah may not even look at...). Thinking that it is ok..but really, it is really not ok. We might call ourself a muslim, but sometimes, we might not act like one. Let alone becoming a muttaqin. Becoming a muttaqin should be every muslim's dream, before he/she dies, but the dream must come with action and great effort.

Being istiqamah in performing good deed is also part of the effort in becoming a muttaqin

The journey to become a muttaqin is not easy, we must admit, however, the strive in becoming one, starts with the cleansing work that we must perform every second of our life, as we might not realise (or in some cases we do), that the act that we are currently performing might be a sin in front of Allah swt. And as it has been mentioned in the quote above, being a muttaqin is when we perform things that Allah swt has asked us to do, leave the things that He has forbid us to do. While in between those two acts, is just another good deed followed by another one, continuously...
MasyAllah...

May this little quote leaves us to think deeply of our next action that we decided to take in our life. So that, with this effort, when Allah swt called upon His slaves, we will become among the best level of 'abid in front of Allah swt with the title of "Muttaqin". insyAllah...
